Ladies and Gentlemen I made Christmas cookies from scratch last night. Four different kinds. Two of which I blogged about previously and two other ones. I made them for my job and to give away as Christmas gifts. I made White Chocolate Cherry Shortbread, Snickerdoodle Croissant Cookies, Red Velvet Shortbread, and Cinnamon Wreaths. I loved the White Chocolate Cherry ones. Yummo! They tasted like macaroons. I was not a fan of the Snickerdoodle Croissants. I usually love Snickerdoodles but the dough was too dense in my opinion, but the filling was still good. I wasn't sure if I liked the Red Velvet but it was a major hit. Everyone loved them so maybe I'm just not as big a fan of red velvet as I thought I was. Lastly, the Cinnamon Wreaths were delicious. They tasted like spiced sugar cookies. Overall, I was happy with the outcome and I think everyone enjoyed them. One of my friends at work is making the Red Velvet and White Chocolate Cherry now as we speak. I usually do a Christmas Cookie party for the kids every year and this year I wasn't able to do it so this little venture fed my cookie appetite for the season. We will be leaving some of these out for Santa ;)
